What else do I need for these speakers? update: do i need wiring harness

I am looking at buying these speakers, but I need to know what else I need to install them. I already have a bracket so that they will fit properly in my 1996 toyota camry, but I think I need some sort of harness or something to make the installation easier. I had ordered them from crutchfield earlier and I think the package inlcuded something like that but I cant remember what it was. Can anyone help?

wire crimper, crimp connections, screw driver, door panel tool (not needed but definatly nice to have)

pop the door panel off carefully.
take old factory speaker out
cut the old factory speaker wire off of the speaker
strip ends of factory speaker wire
crip connections onto factory speaker wire
put crimp connctions onto aftermarket speaker (assuming that it has the little blade type connector on the back of the speaker)
put after market speaker into the factory hole, screw in
replace the door panel
enjoy 🙂

the ends that attach to the wire that go over the little metal thing on the speaker..... to connect the wire to the speaker, with ease.

the caps with metal on inside and plastic on outside to make better contact w/ wires and protect for electrocution/short circuit

Only thing I would change is make sure the speakers are working properly before you put the door panel back on. It really sucks when you get everything put back together and realize your speakers aren't working 🙁

ok, I will check before putting door back on, but I called Crutchfield about it, specifically I'm going to put Pioneer TS-A6985 seen here in the back dash in my 1996 Toyota Camry. Now the Crutchfield guy said that I need speaker wiring harness and that he will send it to me with instructions for $15..........???

So where does the speaker wiring harness part come in.......are they the last ones at the bottom of this page? What do they do? Note: the speakers im getting have been used so the wires might be cut or something....do i still need the wiring harness?

you don't need a wiring harness unless you're replacing the head unit, i'm pretty sure. cause that's where they go. some cars these days have been making "harness" type things for the speakers too, but to attach the harness, you'd have to crimp it to the speakers wires anyway. so just unhook the wires from the old speakers and plug them into the new. no harness needed.
