what drops bags in WoW?

Hi guys,

I just started playing WoW last night with a 10 day trial key.

I find that i'm running out of inventory room really quickly, so i'm looking for a spare bag. I know when i played for my friend for 10 minutes once, I got a bag off some monster I killed, but I can't remember what it was now.

I don't really care for the size; i think the smallest is a 6? that'll do fine for now, just getting sick of having the empty out everything after 3 fights or so.

I know they sell them, but I don't have 5 silver (i have like 1 silver and some copper, just spent 2 silver on skills -.-

Bags are a random drop on most mobs so there isn't one type of mob that will guarantee a bag drop. The best thing to do is got to the AH and buy a bag there for less than a vendor sell it.

Edit: It looks like Sea Crawlers on the coast of Westfall have a 14% drop rate for a Green Leather Bag so if you want to grind for a bag I would go to Westfall.

Any of the low level critters seem to have a chance of dropping the bags, but its pretty rare. Quix gave you the best info.

easier to have a tailor make you a bunch - provide cloth and it'll be free most likely

While you're in Westfall complete Old Blanchy's Pouch - that'll get you a 4-slot container. Granted 4 slots aren't many, but it's better than nothing (or having to constantly empty your main backpack)...

Lol, he is a NE guys. Just grind the mobs there doing quests, they always seem to drop bags. There are plenty of tailors in IF that would help you out. Right click on your General tab, click on "join new channel" in that box type: General - Ironforge

This will allow you to join general chat in Ironforge while being anywhere in the world. Just type lvl 5 NE stuck in Teldrassil please send me a 4slot or 6slot bag. Hopefully you will get a response from one of the nicer people in IF.

You could also go to Darnassus and join the trade channel there an ask for a tailor to make you some bags.

Just kill a tailor or 2 and they will drop some bags..

yay i just found a small green pouch in a treasure chest around some harpy's

this should last me for a bit, i'll gonna try talyoring too. I just learned skinning, what other profession is there to take on?

Grab another gathering profession for awhile.

I took leatherworking along with skinning, and while it was nice to be able to make my own stuff, it got old pretty fast, as around level 40ish you'll be able to find better gear from the different instances.

With 2 gathering professions, the others being Herbalism and Mining, you'll be able to sell your goods on the Auction house for some decent money. 40-60s for a stack of copper doesn't seem like much, but it all adds up

Then you can buy some 14 slot Runecloth bags for 3-4g in no time

Edit: Also, to abandon your pet, click on him, and when his little nameplate pops up next to yours right click -> abandon.
