Get the reinforced cutting wheels, and go really really slowly. The ones that come with the Dremel break WAY to easily. I've been using the same reinforced wheel for a while now. I'll try to find a link...

EDIT: Dremel Site

I'm using #426, the reinforced cut-off wheel. Look at #545, the diamond wheel. I've never used one, but if it did break, you would be SOL until you got another. At least you get a pack of cutting wheels.

Just my opinion but I can't imagine cutting a case window with a dremel. Don't get me wrong, I think a dremel is a darned handy thing to have. For cutting case windows though, I prefer a jig saw.

Agreed. I did my case window with a jig, and cleaned up the edges with my Dremel. Though I've heard people say they want to do it with the Dremel, so more power to em. I'm not that patient :)

I've used both.. I prefer the Dremel, it's cuts are just alot cleaner, and its alot easier to cut a radius with a dremel. It pains me to think back to cutting my first 80mm fan hole with a jigsaw, it was just disgusting when I was done. I use those fiber glass reinforced cutting wheels (and alot of them... for my big window which is about 1.5 feet by 1 foot I plan to go through at least 10 of those little guys. Maybe a combination of both would work best for you? At anyrate, have fun with your modding and be sure to post pics!

For windows, I highly recommend you use a jigsaw. If you're really into self-inflicted pain and anguish...use the dremel...with the reinforced cutting wheel ;). Good luck and be sure to post pics.
