What does your pet do to get your attention?

One of the cats will jump on my lap and make lengthy eye contact with me until I scratch his neck several times a day.

The retriever will lay her muzzle on my iPad if I ignore her, and she drools, then she demands to shake, and immediately turns her head to avoid eye contact. LOL.

My cat stomps on me. Sometimes I'll lay awake with my eyes closed, and she'll walk on me extra hard with some extra push on the step off. She then looks back to see if I woke up :^D

Mine sometimes tries to grab my arm, kinda like a kid would when they want to play. I turn around and see like 10 of her toys behind the chair lol.

One of our Dachshunds (mine) gets me up in the morning by starting to lick me behind my ears (I lay on my side) and then if I wont get up and feed her she will come around and start licking my face... Man does she have a rough lick... 😱

The other one has a very soft lick but she puts me to sleep with hers... 🙄

In other words I have a wet face evening and morning... 😀

When my girl is feeling especially affectionate, she pulls on my necklace. Not sure what that's about, but I like having the fuzzy face in my neck.

Yeah. Cats'll getup in my face, step on me, whine, beat on stuff, knock things off of dressers, and hang out between me and the keyboard if I'm on the computer.

Three eskimo's. I love and always have had eskimo's (Spitz's).
Current three, and all three are rescue dogs.
It's really hard to find Eskimo's especially at a shelter.

One 12 year old simply lays there and barks when he wants anything.
One single bark like every 3 minutes.
I know he either wants out or food, but usually wants out.
He won't move unit I say, do you want to go out?

The other eskimo, 11 year old, just walks up and stares.
No bark, no noise, just sits and gives that big eyed doggie stare.

The the third eskimo is young. 2 years old.
He demands attention and loves to play bite my hands.
At the computer, he jumps up, stretches, and hits the keyboard with the paws.
He has temper issues but thats one reason he's so adorable.
I suspect that was why his previous owners turned him over to the shelter.
I feel like I'm raising a problem child, but he is well worth it.
I was very lucky to have adopted him, just beating out another customer by only 5 minutes.

Well, if she wanted scratchies she'd nuzzle my hand. If she wanted food she thought I had she'd gaze intently at me while emitting brief, inquisitive meows.

Barks when he wants a treat, whine at the top or bottom of the stairs for us to go get it. His legs are so short, it makes it dificult for him to navigate the stairs. Plus he is a wimp.. LOL

When I was young I had a dog that loved to chew when she was a puppy, like most puppies do. She'd grab a book or a shoe or pretty much anything not nailed it down, worm her way in back of a sofa so she wouldn't be disturbed and go to town. If she had something we needed, like a shoe, we'd lure her out with treats so she wouldn't chew it up. Smart dog, took her about 2 repetitions of that to figure out that "take shoe = treat". So she'd grab a shoe and not even pretend to chew it. Just sit there in the middle of the room until somebody noticed it and traded a treat for the shoe. If we were not quick enough to suit her she'd move closer and closer to get noticed. If that still didn't work she'd twist her head and throw the shoe onto somebodys lap to get their attention. Not drop it on their lap, she actually learned how to throw shoes from a few feet away and she was pretty damn good at it.

I only have a Sugar Glider now and she is very vocal. I always know what mood she is in by what noise she is making. When she wants my attention she will start squeaking, almost a coo sound that will eventually turn into a full bark if I don't respond. Sometimes she just wants me to talk to her and others she won't quiet down until I rub her under her chin.

He passed away in 2000. Made it to the ripe old age of 17. Pretty good for someone who used to fall off the bookshelf twice a day.

Sorry, 🙁

Sugar gliders are so cool, but the smell is a little rough.

My cat jumps up on my lap only when she's hungry for dinner. Otherwise, she's terrestrial.

She gets in the mood for belly rubs mostly at night time (when you want to pee.) She'll sprawl across the hallway and claw at your ankle if you rebuke her.

<3 her anyway.

My last pup was a golden retriever who unfortunately did not see her 5th birthday due to an aggressive cancer - when she was hungry she'd go and lay down by her food bowl, watch me and wait. If she needed anything else she'd come put her head on my lap. Sweet dog.

My Manx cat is very intelligent. He brushes my nose and face with whiskers because it tickles in a way that almost guarantees a response. I try to ignore it so I don't validate the behavior. Then he gets really pushy and starts shoving his nasty nose in my nose/mouth area.

The golden retriever has decided she's jealous of the cat and wants to sit on my lap. I may have to kill her.
