My system gives me a 7.6 on the intel i5-2500k

I am oc'd to 4.2 GHz.

all my other WEI scores are 7.8 or 7.9.

Does anyone get 7.7 or more with their intel i5- 2500k?

My 2500K at 4.5 gets 7.7,, my 2500K at 5.3 gets....................7.7. Point is, WEI isnt that accurate.

WEI=means nothing

Strange, I didn't see the title in the OP asking if WEI means anything or not, most of us know it doesn't :confused:

Anyway, 2500K tops out at 7.7, even up to 5.3GHz.

My 2600K at 4.5GHz is also at 7.7.

thanks for all replies.

I got 7.6 with or without oc for my cpu i5-2500k

So I just was a bit curious as to my 7.6 was worth.

According to WEI, my 2500K, at 7.6, is the weakest link in my system. :whiste:

So because the OP doesn't specifically ask that, you're not allowed to say it? I thought it was relevant. If you're asking for WEI results, it usually indicates you think WEI results have some significance. It is therefore helpful to point out that they don't.

Not an i5, but if I had a Bulldozer, I'm sure it would go to 11. ;)

WEI=means nothing

I think it was meant to be a ballpark estimate of what windows can do with that piece of hardware.

It occasionally comes in handy for troubleshooting. When some people ask why they can't play 1080p games at a decent frame rate, and the WEI for graphics says 3.3, that's usually all the explanation they need.
