my lawn is my pride and joy ;) I slave over it every day just to make sure it looks good. I'm just kinda sad now because I have a fungus that is spreading :( I just sprayed some fungicide on it a little while ago - but I'm afraid I am a little too late for some spots :( Looks like I'm gonna have to buy some sod.....

My wife and I have been talking about buying a house once we get out student loans out of the way, noticed your neighbors houses seem to be about 20 feet from yours. Does it cause you problems noisewise or otherwise having neighbors so close. We were concerned that having neighbors too close would cause problems.
We live in a duplex now and my wife can't play the piano after 10pm and we can't turn the tv up too loud when watching movies. When we do move we may end up moving out to the country just so our neighbors will be like a mile away. :p

Nice house by the way.

Freejack, I didn't like being close either, but you can't beat the price. Also, I haven't heard a peep out of either of my neighbors, and the one that I talk to regularly said he can never hear my stereo.

N8magic, kiss my rear! ;)

The sod had just been laid, it's nice and green now!

No, my neighboors are perfect. A middle aged man lives to the right of me - and he's really cool. He's always working on his yard too, so we give each other tips and help each other out. Then a single mother lives to the left of me - with her two kids. They're cool too. Noise isn't an issue :)

That's good. One thing we may do is buy an inexpensive starter house and when we can afford it, have a nice house custom built out in the country.
I rather imagine any starter home we'd get would have our neighbors 20feet away.

I think I would rather be living with people next to me then with nobody out in the country.
