Didn't see a desktop screenshot thread here, so guess I'd make one. Let's see what each others desktops look like. People with hi-res displays remember to resize your photos please.

Conky. It shows system information I find occasionally useful. I have it as a "soft" sidebar. I don't generally put windows on top of it, but can if I need the space.

Blimey OP, if I was going to switch off translucency on 7, I'd go all the way and switch to Windows Classic theme! (something else I lament being missing from Win8).

Haha, oh can I relate to that one. If only I didn't have multiple hard drive crashes from 2000 through 2006, I might be able to go as far back as elementary school's "poetry.txt". :awe:

I have a copy of the hd my first IBM compatible computer(486DX50) came with. In fact, I've been poking through it lately trying to find my old HP48 software, and trying to remember how to use it. I want to run the software in an emulator on Android.
