No, HSPA/HSPA+ phones do not do that. iPhones do. My phone distinguishes E, 3G, H, and H+ in the status bar. It says "3G" when it's on the same microcell your phone reports as "4G." It says "H+" or "E" everywhere else (never saw the 3G indicator off the microcell). Your phone is simply misreporting it.

I asked you for clarification and you told me that it said "H+" when you were there on the M-Cell. Don't remember?

Nope. I told you the exact opposite. If it didn't say 3G then I would have assumed that it was some kind of H+ microcell.

so I changed things up a bit.

Decided I wanted more free space on my desk and picked up a cheap tv instead of using my spare monitor.

Mine has changed recently, added the center monitor. Christmas present I bought myself. 😀 A pain to setup in Linux and it's still very finicky but I got it mostly working.

Now I'm going to need a bigger desk. Which is in the works...

Those are the legs. Seems low, but it's actually the same height as my current desk.

Started on that in summer, but I procrastinated a little too much and the cold weather came too quick. Going to finish it in spring. My garage is not conditioned so the working conditions in there arn't ideal but I'll just have to tough it for the rest. It will have to be built in several parts then stained/varnished then assembled in my office.

squirrel...you never answered me

What internet connection are you using for your server? Just a standard home connection or something better?

Oh never noticed your reply, sorry. Just DSL, but the server is mostly for local stuff only and it's all 1gbps locally. I wish I could actually host stuff at home but the connection is the problem. I have everything else covered such as power backup and cooling. Wish I could get fiber here as I would host all my stuff at home. Heck even 10mbps up/down would be plenty but 100/100 would be better for expandability. Never going to happen though. I'd pretty much have to move to the states or at least southern Canada to get that.

I currently lease a server in Hamilton for my online stuff. I also still have a shared hosting account for a few of my sites, which I probably should migrate off at some point but never really bothered as the service is good.
