What does Worcestershire Sauce Taste Like?

lmao, thats the exact thing that popped into my mind once i saw the topic.

It tastes, well, really salty, not too strong, and a damn good marinade for steaks.

Mmmm Great on Steak. Its got a little kick too like a little sour tang. If you taste just the sauce.

it is a great marinade as mentioned and i love it but it really is an aquired taste

It has anchovies in it, but it's not "fishy" tasting in my book. Kinda like a cross between soy sauce and A1 steak sauce maybe?

I mix a generous dollop of it into ground beef for burgers.....very tasty.

I don't know, my mom has used it ever since I was a little kid... it's sort of the taste that I naturally associate with steak.

And yes, anchovies = dead fish and it's one of the ingredients in Worcestershire Sauce.

Its ok for mixing with groundbeef too.

However, I prefer HP Sauce for the same uses as Worcestershire sauce.
