What does this warning msg mean? HELP PLEASE!

"Warning: disk boot sector is to be modified, press Y to accept, and any key to abort. "

This occurred when I was installing windows XP! Please help.
 
Just answer Yes or disable the option in your BIOS - something about 'protect boot sector' or some such.

Thanks, is this some virus protection on the mobo? I disabled the virus protection and it went through fine. Should I renable this option afterwards?
