what does this message mean?

I got home from school today at about 11:30, turned on my computer, and this is what i got:

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If the problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Setup Options, and then select safe mode.

Technical Information:
*** STOP: 0x00000074 (0x00000003, 0x00000002, 0x80087000, 0xc000014c)

I rebooted and it gave me the same screen so i went into safe mode, disabled my network card, re-enabled it, and it booted up fine. This isn't the first time it's happened. About a month or two ago it did it at a friends house. Is my motherboard dying or something? My voltages are high, especially the vcore and 12v. I hope someone knows what this means, i'm not sure what to do.

hmmm, i wondering if lowering the voltages would do anything?? hmmm, by high i'm assuming u mean higher than default.

Vcore = 1.88 and i'm not overclocking, it's set to run at 1.75
2.5 = .43
3.3 = 3.49
5 = 5.05
12 = 12.66

Im wondering if i should try updating my bios. I have never done this. I am using a KK266-R motherboard. Is this a risky thing to do? I checked on the IWill website and they have these bios updates. Do i have to do all of them in order or can i just do one?
