A couple weeks ago I visited a friend that lives about four hours away. I was on my way home from college for the summer, and I passed through my old hometown. So, I spent a day hanging out with her. We watched a movie at her house. At first she sat on the couch that I was sitting on, but then she moved to the rocking chair next to it when her dog started acting up. :( Anyways, so after the movie we ended talking for awhile and suddenly it was like 1 AM. I end up spending the night, on her couch. (was gonna stay at my bro's house). So the next day I leave and as we say goodbye she gives me a hug. When we had been hanging out, she was laughing a lot, even when I said things that weren't very funny.

So now, a couple weeks later I invite over to my house to spend the weekend here. (I live with my parents still :() So, in a few more weeks she's gonna be here. The question is: Does she want me? Or are we just friends. I could go either way with her and be happy. The main problem is that we live four hours apart, and go to different colleges. Anyways. What do you think?

Sounds to me like at this point there's nothing to indicate that you're any more than friends. However, if you like her and want to go out with her, simply ask her... If not, don't, and stay friends.

I had the same type of experience with someone I though was unatainable. Two years later I asked her and she told me she wanted me back then. I just wasn't aggressive enough.
