During boot just before PCI listing I get this line



<BIOS:>BIOS update data incorrect.CPUID 00000686

noticed this a couple of days ago machine still works fine but I reflashed the bios anyway no change.What does this mean?

usually indicates that your cpu isn't being correctly IDed by bios. did you change your cpu &amp; haven't installed the latest bios?

I got a Compuwiz PIII @1ghz and I've been in and out of the bios fifty to sixty times and even reflashed it,btw P3bf Voodoo5 SB X-Gamer 512meg Inineon ram bios version 6 Windows ME
