Thanks for the info Trashman. I just found some others with XP who have had this problem also but neither could resolve it - but neither had resulting problems from it either... I'm using an abit vt6x4 p3 mobo and they stopped updating the bios', but atleast it looks like its something I can live with, without it creating other problems.
