I've got an MSI KT6 Delta, with an Athlon XP1700+, 1 GB DDR400, ATI 9600XT AIW.

Starting a couple weeks ago, my dual monitors somewhere between twice per day to once per two days just start freaking out and I have to reboot the system. I've had this exact setup for maybe 3 years now and never had a problem before. I'm guessing it's with the video card? Help! pic

By the way, it happens at anytime, not when a certain software is being, I don't play games, so I don't think I'm stressing out the system.

Check for bad capacitors on the motherboard and video card. It could be a power supply issue too.

Looks like the video card was shot. I replaced it and everything is running ok. Don't see anything wrong with any of the caps though...

Maybe the video card was shot because it got cooked, i.e.; overheated?

Be sure to keep that baby cool(er)!
