what does these do during startup?

i have the following entries in my startup tab when i run msconfig. i hope someone can tell me what they do and whether i can jus disable them during startup.

Taskmonitor : c:\windows\taskmon.exe
LoadPowerProfile : Rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, LoadCurrentPwrScheme
EM_EXEC : c\progra~1\logitech\system\em_exec.exe
BCDetect : c:\windows\system\bcdetect.exe defer
Acrobat Assistant : c:\progra~1\adobe\acroba~1.0\distillr\acrotray.exe

Keep Taskmonitor and Load power. Not sure about BCDetect. EM_Exec is probaly for a mouse or other device. Delete Acrobat Assistant

em_exec is for Logitech mouseware and I think bcdect has to do with drivers for a Creative 3d video card

Trink: that site sure is useful! im going to remove taskmonitor, acrotray and em_exec from my startup and try!
