What does the rest of the world think

I guess you Bush people don't care what the rest of the world thinks, even though we have to deal with them on a daily basis. You also don't care what the liberals think,. Come to think of it, you don't care what anybody that disagrees with you thinks.

ou know perfectly well that you can tell a fool but you can't tell him much. Everybody else is worthless so only my opinion matters anyway.

well the western world, uh and I might get the words mixed up, they seem to have different meanings over here compared to US. 🙂

LOL. Which ones? Even the European conservative parties have more in common with the US Democratic party.... Thanks to religious wackos and undereducated red staters, the US is more conservative than pretty much all Western democracies.

Actually I distrust Silvio Berlusconi just as much as Bush. The difference is that Silvio Berlusconi doesn't have that much power outside Italy, so he's easier to ignore.

Well most European countries are very conservative in regards to immigration. Some European countries don't even allow abortion. Some countries want God to be put into the EU constitution. You're probably thinking about countries like UK, France, etc and not Portugal, Poland, Ireland, Spain, Italy, etc.

Wow, nice try. You pick one topic and suggest they're conservative. Hardly proof of anything. And last time I checked most of those countries you mentioned have national health care, more social welfare, etc. Even with immigration, since when do Republicans favor limiting immigration? They don't. Neither party does in the US. Have you ever stepped foot outside the USA? If you went to Europe (outside a US army base or tourist zone) you would notice that all of Europe is much more liberal than the average American.

I'm not saying that they're hardcore conservative. I think you're the one picking out one topic - social services. I'm taking into account several - social services, immigration, abortion, religion, gay rights, etc.

Yes I have been outside of the US, that's why I questioned the statement that all of the world is liberal.
