What Does The American Express Blue Do?

I've been using this card for 2 and half years now. No joke. I have no idea what any of the "smart card" features are, if any. I just know they sent me this card reader soon after I got my card, and it didn't work with Windows 2K, so I lost interest after a while. I keep it around because it's a cool looking card to pull out in front of your friends when the check comes at restraunts. hehe. Seriously, anyone know?
