Riiiiiiiight, DaBonehead.

Ted Kennedy is devoted to the general welfare.
As is Barney Frank.
And Hillary Clinton.
And Wexler from Florida.
And Jesse Jackson
And Al Sharpton.

Your astounding logic has won me over. :D

fdisk,

The answer to your question is "Yes". At least more so than the people we generally consider part of the right-wing.

As UG stated, right and left wings depend on on the situation. For example: right/left in most Western nations is different from right/left in old Communist era nations.

Right is traditionalist maintaining the historical status quo.
Left is agressive(not necessarily progressive, but at times it is)change.

In the big picture, universal view, right is not free enterprise capitalism and left is not state control socialist. In Western nations they are this way because traditionally European/North American nations were free enterprise/capitalist. Towards the end of the Soviet Union, however, the right was communist/socialist and the left was capitalist. It is all a matter of perception.

joseph mc carthy was a wisconsin democrat, probably a very labor union (hence liberal/left-wing) guy.

nixon tried to figure out the democrat's election scheme because he didn't want to get screwed by voter fraud like he had been in the 1960 election. ironic that the son of one of the most fraudulent politicians in history is trying to talk smack about bush. (daley, for those of you who don't know)

Well the chicken can survive without the wings, but can a wing survive without the chicken? :)

Wings usually dont have that much meat on them, especially the EXTREAM points of the wings. Nothing but fluff. However the closer you move to the middle the better tasting, and more meat you get.

Lesson? Middle is yummy and tasty, and survives without extream points. Wings aint got nuttin on the middle, and the extream tips are nothing but fluff.

So naaaaaah! :p
