A person from India. How Indians in America refer to each other. They don't say "there is a hot indian girl in my class", rather they say "There is a hot desi babe in my class".

Land of 5 rivers.

Are you serious? If so, I am so confused :(

Pun means 5. There are 5 rivers in Punjab. Indus, Satlaj, Ravi, Chinab and some other one.

Thanks TommyVercetti, now I must figure out why I saw a sign on my way home tonight that said Punjab Suits on sale

I saw it in a store window as I got a ride home from work; that's why I decided to ask what punjab meant.
