That doesn't excuse ignorance... having been here longer you should know that some of these forums have rules (like no thread crapping in FS/FT).
 
Please note that I did not start this thread to create a mockery of the Hot Deals Forum. I rather like this forum. I just wanted to know what MIR stood for. Simple question designating a simple answer.

The forum system was created before there were such things as hotdeals, so there was no HD forum at that time. It is always nice to see folks here who can play well together.
