bunch of nerds

hmmm.... I know I'm a nerd, but who's the Bible thumper? I'm a little against that whole "sola scriptura" stuff, and I'm not desparate.

imtim83 comes to mind and nuclearfusi0n comes to mind as the desperate virgin...😛

William Shakespeare/Sonnet CXVI

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

Well, to me there are lots of different kinds of love. But the one thing that they all have in common is a sense of delight in the loved one, and an understanding and tolerance for their imperfections. It also includes a desire for them to grow and reach their highest ground.

That goes for everyone I love in my life, and I try to extend it out to the world in general (not easy).

Love is being stupid together

Love is when they even look good when they first wake up

Love is being able to accept their little quirks and they yours

I could go on and on, but I've found true love and it makes me happy. My wife and I have gone through hell together and we've just come out even stronger.

Understanding, being there, caring, listening, being able to deal with life and its changes with another person, protecting, encouraging, faith. Basically, you would do ANYTHING for that person.

Then there is other stuff, moods, needs, manners, how to deal with those also helps
