What does Jagermeister taste like?

In 1992, I finally earned my Jagdschein or German hunting license. Went out hunting with some Germans and discovered the experience to be much different than here. All three of my hunting partners brought Jägermeister along. While in the stand awaiting our 52 pound deer to come around at 7 PM in the evening, these guys, including our guide, were getting hammered on the stuff.

52 pounds? That's the size of a medium sized dog.

Yeah, I alluded earlier that hunting over there was different.

Rehwild or Roe deer don't grow very big. Rotwild or Red deer, however, attain good size.

In college, I chased a few glasses of wine, 7 shots of goldshlager, and 5 beers with a 1/5 of Jager...that night did not end well. Besides almost dying and losing my girlfriend, the smell of Jager makes me sick.

You either love it or hate it. I'm not a licorice fan to begin with, so I really don't like it much. Just make sure it is served ice cold or it really tastes like crap. I'd rather do shots of 151, 99 Fruits(Apples, Bananas, Berries, etc), Vodka, or almost any other liquor then Jager.

I'd agree, pretty much like black licorice. I don't know about best shot ever but Rockstar + Jager pwns Red Bull + Jager.

Everclear doesn't "taste" at all. It's just a force of mass destruction. Taste buds, esophagi, livers, intestinal tracts etc. all cower in fear.
Rightfully so. 190 proof isn't a joke. One shot almost killed me.

Of course it has a taste. "Burning" is a taste.
