Takes nothing to own one but takes balls to use them

Here in Washington, for a rifle or shotgun they'll just do a phone-in to the gov't and they'll approve or deny you, then you're good to go. I'd assume it's the same in California

1. take the firearms test.
2. buy gun.
3. wait 10 days.
4. pick up gun.

Where can I take the test? And do you know anything about acquiring a CCW(Carry Concealed Weapon) license?

I think you can go to any firearms dealer. you have pretty much zero chance of getting CCW.

CCW depends on city. Hick town, sure. City, nearly impossible. Gun shop to take test/watch video? Hellow yellow pages.

Where ever you are looking to purchase the firearm will more than likely let you take the HSC test. It costs $5-10 or so and exists only to keep people who don't know which end the bullet comes out of from purchasing a firearm (meaning, it is terribly simple to pass). If you're over 21 you have no age related restrictions.

The firearms test is given at gun stores.

You might go to a few places to see what the people are like and see what kind of a selection they have. My experience is that gun stores have different levels of sotck and turnover, and the owners are sometimes... peculiar. It's not too much different from my experience with dive shop owners, bike shop owners, and surf shop owners, though.

You buy a study guide for less than a dollar, read it, pass the test, buy guy, wait ten days, pick up gun, bust a cap into old ladies and gun down whitey, etc...

I was under the impression that you needed a reason for a CCW license, that the course was over multpile sessions, and that the course had to be given by a police or military professional. You might ask while you're at the gun shop. Try not to seem to excited about getting a CCW right off the bat or they might not sell to you. 😕

You should probably buy a sword first. And maybe some throwing stars b/c they are much more manly. But if you are a little baby and you still need a gun then you should know there is a 10 day waiting period and a $25 transaction fee I believe.
