its my bro's dog, its female, like 3 years old. i dunno, it was sitting next to me on couch, and i was jsut staring at it for like couple of minutes. and then it gave out a sigh. you know, like take in a deep breath, and exhale the air and looked at me.

My dog does that.

Rare for him to do it out of the blue like that, but every now and then he will. He does it religiously when lying down to go to sleep though. Curls up, licks, adjusts, when he's all settled in and ready to sleep he draws in this huge breath and sighs it out. I've tried it when I'm trying to fall asleep, it is soothing somehow.

too me, i thought it was a very human gesture to sigh. i never had a dog so i wouldn't know. i kinda want one, and my brothers cat is cool too, kinda like a dog, you pet it and it responds like it likes it, unlike his two other cat. his kitten is a prick and has a mind of his own too much
