what does installing WDDM 1.3 do if you have windows 7?

more importantly... can it be easily reversed like most other microsoft updates?

i have 331.40 beta installed for my GTX 780 and it works well in case that helps answer my questions.

Nothing. The driver will default to WDDM 1.1, which is the maximum 7 supports. You need 8.1 to actually use WDDM 1.3...
