What does "GTR" mean on a car?

Uhhh...doesn't it go GSR, and then Type R? i didn't think GTR was even an option (though I could be wrong).

those GT-R emblems you see on civics, camrys, buicks, and caravans could be bought from your local auto parts store... incidentally they look identical to the skyline GT-R badge... :|
 
I know that in "GTO", the GT stands for Gran Turismo, so GT-R could be Gran Turismo - Racing or it could be Grand Touring Racing... who knows

gran touring is the english translation of gran turismo 🙂
