if you wore your diaphram out from over excercising, would breathing be sore/painful. would it not be painful and just stiff?

normally, it would involve a pregnancy when you were trying to not have one!

I believe the "stitch" is actually forces on the diaphragm and various internal organs, primarily the liver, that occur while running. Not muscular fatigue of the diaphragm.

Couldn't say what diaphragm fatigue WOULD feel like, as I'm pretty sure most people reach general muscular fatigue first. Probably a rare condition. But I could be wrong.

unless you have some serious underlying medical condition, you do NOT have diaphragm fatigue. More than likely, you have either some form of costochondritis or other bruising.

please give some more symptoms if you really want any help. its my bedtime, if you are having signification shortness of breath, call 911 NOW!

k, i know most diaphragm fatigue should abate within 30mins of excercise cessation.

my chest has been a little tight lately with a mild cough, was just wondering if it was allergies or maybe i pushed it too hard hiking yesterday. no pain or shortness of breath or anything. just kinda feels like my lungs are a little stiff.
