I was always afraid to ask but now, I'm just really wondering. Who is WombatWoman? In which season of ATOT did she play?

Probably from the very first. AFAIK, the custom titles were given out early, early in the beginning (maybe?!?)

In the Beginning, Anand created the forums.

And he said, "Let there be a hot deal forum," and there was a hot deal forum, and it was good.

And Anand was lonely when he was done, so let in all sorts of interesting creatures in to frolic in his forums.

And they misbehaved, and acted like schmucks . . . and thus was the Den Mother instituted.

Well, maybe not.

You've heard of the boy scouts, right?

There's a version for younger kdis, called "cub scouts". These kids are about 5-8 years old.

They're broken up into "dens", like chapters of a club. The "Den mother" is one of the kids mom's, she does things like bring them cookies and help set up picnics.

it wasn't that long ago, I remember the time before she got the title.
She's brilliantly funny and she writes poetry. She was away from the forums for a while, probably because of that thing involving an ex-member who did something really wrong a very long time ago, and baffled2 has kind of filled in that vacant spot, but it's all good and anyway, every post she made was great, so who cares? Someone has a page with a collection of her posts in his sig, check it out. Great stuff.

Ugh, lets clear some stuff up... WombatWoman used to really be apart of these forums (a very good and wholesome part of it) till morons decided they had to be real pricks and go off saying things that offended her and hurt her deeply, which I'm still pissed about.

She was instituted as elite, but begged not to be elite, she said in one of her posts den mother would do, and the admin/mod changed it to den mother and it's been that way ever since.

Like a pack of young cubs bursting with hormonal playfullness and malice, but everlively need a protector to guide and a mentor to show, so too is our Den Mother, the MomBat, a gentle yet firm spirit in a mix of roughandtumble tomfoolery among teenage cubs who are not old enough to know the world and not young enough to be let outside without concern.

Cheers ! :)

What does "Den Mother" stand for?

[Groucho voice] Some people will tell ya she'll stand for anything! [/Groucho voice]

No, but spuriously, folks...

The title DEN MOTHER has a mystical significance.

It is an anagram of ENDOTHERM.

It is also an anagram of NERD MET HO, NETHER MOD, DR NO THEME, THE NORMED, and HERD ME NOT.

The meaning of these things will remain a mystery until the heat death of the Universe (END THERMO.)
