A 4.0-3.9
A- 3.8-3.5
B+ 3.4-3.2
B 3.1-2.9
B- 2.8-2.5
C+ 2.4-2.2
C 2.1-1.9
C- 1.8-1.5
D+ 1.4-1.2
D 1.1-0.9
D- 0.8-0.7 Lowest passing grade.
E 0.0 Failure or Unofficial Withdrawal.
No credit earned.

that is the scale at my school (university of washington)

we get all our grades in GP form though, and the letter grade never comes into play. so i dunno why we even have this scale. but anyways.

Link

2 D's = 1.0

1 D and 1 C = 1.33

This is figuring in your B from last semester.

Edit - I don't go there, just a link I saved cuz I liked it :)

wtf?

A/A+ = 4.0
A- = 3.7
B+ = 3.3
B = 3.0
B- = 2.7
C+ = 2.3
C = 2.0
C- = 1.7
D+ = 1.3
D = 1.0
D- = .7
F = 0

we really cant say what your gpa would be because you havnt stated the number of units for each class. obviously a 4 unit class will have a greater affect on your gpa than a 2 unit class. but assuming that your three classes so far had the same number of units then your gpa would be 2.0 (assuming 1 B, 1 C, 1 D), or 1.67 (assuming 1 B, 2 D's)

if they're both 3 unit classes, you have a 1.5 for this semester.

If all three (including the B) are 3 unit classes, you have a 2.0 overall.

A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0

Your GPA = SUM((grade points earned per course)*(credit hour weight of respective course))/(total number of grade points attempted)

For example you attempt one 4 credit hour course followed by three 3 credit hour courses and you earn the following:
C, D, A, B

You get:

(2 grade points *4 credit hours + 1 grade point * 3 credit hours + 4 grade points * 3 credit hours + 3 grade points * 3 credit hours)/(4+3+3+3)= 32/13=2.46 GPA

At my university, there are no fractional grade points.. A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0. They multiply the grade points by credit hours.

hehehe here you'd be on AP...

c, d, and b - probably 2.00

d, d, and b - 1.67

of course, it depends also on how they calculate GPA and if units are factored in AND if they give a varying amount of points for +/-

what do A A- B B- C C- D D- ..... come out to in percentage???

assuming D is a failing grade

My college goes by percentages, and course credits are totally different from their 'universal' use for GPA calculation

It probably means academic warning. Drink less, party less, and STUDY!

Hey I like to slack off too, but I graduated with a 3.7 gpa, and my wife who is just as bad as me, is phi beta kappa.
It's not that hard to do good. Go to classes and study some. You can turn from academic warning to honor student with just a little work.

If you can't do this, then don't go back in January, go out into the real world and work for a few years. Trust me, you'll come back to school very ready.

goddamn youre stupid !!! you are in college and you cant figure out your own GPA?

why are you spending money and going to any college if your grades are this bad?

you can't possible be getting anything worthwhile out of school with these grades.

either apply yourself seriously to school and get something out of it (geez - you know it's community college, it can't possibly be so hard you "just don't get it")

or quit wasting time and money (maybe even your own) and get a job for a while, and get your life priorities figured out. You may decide school is not for you, or you may decide that
your finally ready to apply yourself to further schooling.
