What does a 10'C change in ambient room temp do for ur overclock?

If your room is that hot (and jeeze, how do you live like that? I can't stand over 75F) then your components can NEVER get below that temperature with air cooling. But its not like they run at 30C at load anyway. But its a lot harder for your fans to keep things cool when it only has hot air to deal with.

20c is 20x1.8 + 32 = 68f

and

30c id 30x1.8 + 32 = 86f ---wowo that is toasty but very reasonable in summer months in certain areas without AC----

I would usually see 8-10c rasies in my p4 temps......

I would assume the warmer the air used to cool with will reduce the effectivness of cooling the hs yet it will never go below that ambient point.....

Now the case temps are usually around 2-3c even higher inside of most cases...since my room is constantly a 20c with case temps closer to 21-22c I get around a 30c with no vcore boosting.....That is 10c over ambient....however 30c would likely be 31-32c in my case and my idle temps would probably be closer to 40c or slightly greater....air flow would have stayed constant, though temp of that air mass would have increased. Heat is drawn away slower thus aloowing temps to raise....

i was in that dilemma with you in my old house with no ac but not this year......

oh well :p I've been re-priming 2 find my new highest stable o'c- looks like in teh heat of the day i'm safe @167*12 on my t-bred 2000+, mb temp is 35'C, cpu 56'C after ~two/three hours priming

Bit of a step down from my prime stable 177*12 in the cooler months, but i'm sick of crashing out of hl2 after an hour or so :p
