In case you haven't noticed the fact that McDonald's brewed their coffee at much higher temperatures than what home brewers (coupled with the fact that she only wanted the medical bills covered due to McDonald's using temperatures much higher than normal) can bring the coffee to changes the story. If she had coffee spilled in her lap from your average mister coffee after being in a cup she wouldn't have needed skin grafts... that might be something to think about if you can ever leave your comforting "no new ideas bubble"
I simply insulted a woman in the trailer that had nothing to do with the lawsuit. So you are being pretty presumptuous to argue beyond that.

The Gatekeepers: A documentary featuring interviews with all surviving former heads of Shin Bet, the Israeli security agency whose activities and membership are closely held state secrets.

Every asshole right wing chicken hawk should be made to watch this.

Funny this thread popped up.
Just last night i watched a very rare doc called "WE WILL BE BACK - THE LAKE DELHI STORY"
A lake in Iowa with footage from the 1960's - 70's.
History of the lake going back to the 1800's, the beaches and popularity in the 1960's.
The only place to be for families, Summer, cottages, the beaches.

The dam that gave way during one hard rain, and everything down stream washed completely away.
Incredible footage of the dam giving way, boats and yachts swallowed up, and homes carried away by the rushing waters.

This aired years ago on PBS.
Now only available through the website, www.lakedelhiwewillbeback.com

Incredible story. Footage. Historical.

If that were the message maybe he could put in "If we only did {this} then we could have {this}". Instead it is "Look how much we suck because this specific country has {this}".

Maybe if he got off his lazy ass for three minutes he could have put together a "If we cut military spending by 47% we could accomplish a healthcare system for everyone in the USA, free". Instead he just says "Look at our run away spending."

I'd love to work 36 hour weeks with 2 hour lunch breaks where my kid goes to a school that serves the freshest food and when my wife gets too stressed she can get a free two week spa trip all paid by taxes. But tell me what it takes to do that. Not to mention the largest country he went to was only a 3rd of the US population.

Well, as a very simple start, we are wasting trillions by inflating the bank accounts of the billionare class.

Just sucking that wealth out of the American people and putting it in their accounts.

Slashing top tax rates from 91% (FDR-Kennedy), and 70% (Kennedy-Carter), to far lower rates has that effect - while the debt runs up to $20 trillion without that revenue.

Again, thank *you* for pointing that information out, but that should have been done by the film maker I think.

After watching the secret "Frontline: The Secret History of ISIS" ...
Missed that one. Frontline has some very good docs.
One that stuck with me was My Brother's Bomber.
The filmmakers brother was aboard Pan Am Flight 103 when it was bombed over Lockerbie Scotland. He goes to Libya in search of the truth.

Saw this recently on Showtime, it's also on Hulu THE SPYMASTERS - CIA IN THE CROSSHAIRS

Teaser

This is on CBS tonight(May 21) for anyone interested. Well, at least my local CBS, maybe not all though.
