What do you wear when you go to sleep?

Nothing like kids running into bed early in the morning before you're up and, being surprised, asking what *that* is -and your trying to figure out how to explain before their ready

Actually I think it would be healthy. They wouldn't have hangups about nudity.

Well I sleep in the same bed with my 8-year-old brother. And my 11-year-old sister will likely freak out if she finds me nekkid on bed in the morning.

I haven't a clue why it is inappropriate but I get the feeling that it would be inappropriate.

when they ask, you just give a simple explaination, heck I breastfeed 3 kids, if I'd gotten into all sorts of hangup's about nudity I'd never have gotten any sleep.

Within the family there's a difference between a child occasionally catching a glimpse of a nude adult and in being inappropriate, when my kids would ask questions I'd give a simple answer and then simply redirect their attention elsewhere... whatever you do just don't freak out or make a big deal about it. Also explain about privacy, the need to knock on bedroom doors before entering.. and help them establish healthy boundaries by also respecting their closed doors and knocking before entering.
