I sent my final mortgage payment in on January 20th. Obama should cover the rest of my payments. Life is good.

People keep throwing that clip out, and maybe it's just me, but I interpret that as, "Obama is going to fix this cluster-fuck of an economy, and then I can finally relax and not worry about losing my job and not being able to afford gas, much less making my mortgage payments."

Is it that I'm too naive, or that you guys are too bitter? 😕

Au contraire, I'm a big fan, like most Aussies (well, most Liberal Aussies (the Liberal Party here is closer to your Republicans and the Torys in the UK), I suspect most Australian Labor Party voters aren't quite so keen on you).

Wow, how did that happen? I keep hearing that American liberals are more like European Conservatives, and now Australian liberals are more like American conservatives? I'm confused.
