I want no stuff. For myself I'd just want a job that would let me move to Europe.

Otherwise just a mild winter for the northeast would be nice.

Me and the wify got boosted today. My arm is sore but nothing serious. So there OP: Merry XMas from us up here in frigid NS.

As for what I want for christmas, peace and armony in P&N.

After needing to buy new tires for my truck setting me back 2k I told everyone I'm not buying anything for Christmas and don't want anything either. Just being together with family is good enough for me.

I’m perfectly content. We buy whatever we want all year long. Don’t really need anything but a healthy, happy family!

That's pretty much us. We got a labradoodle puppy in September, had the back yard fenced for his safety, (mountain lions and coyotes, and bears, oh my!) had a new roof put on the house...and a new pellet stove installed today...plus, our 17 year old grandson is coming up on the Amtrak to spend x-mas with his grandma. (and me, but she's the real reason) Everything we need...or want, we just buy as we want or need it.

That shocks the shit out of me. Brand new 20" Michelin's for my 2019 F150 are only about $250 each at Costco or from Tire Rack...plus about $20 each for installation and TPMS parts.

Everything is more expensive here. The tires alone were like $300 and something then and another $100 and something for rims, then add installation, taxes etc. I actually skipped the TPMS though I should have maybe went with them since now it's going to keep bugging me on the dash. I figured they could turn that off. Could have just transferred the ones from old wheels at very least, though they were starting to act up.

TPMS send-units tend to break if you try to move them from old wheels to new unfortunately. Bad design.

Be aware that many vehicles will turn off features like traction-control if TPMS is disabled although its less likely in a pickup.

I think I want a reclining chair so I can sit up more in the living room & watch TV with my family. It needs to be slim enough to get through a narrow hallway though & not in so many pieces that you need to curse a lot for hours to assemble.

Recliners generally have removable backs so you can turn them on their sides and get them through pretty small doorways and hallways.

good to know, still will get one on the smaller side as my living room is small.
