I think it's time to get rid of my excel worksheet used to store most of the websits i visit where a login is requred, and go to something more secure.

What do you use or suggest for storing your website logins (example: AT forums, etc) and passwords?

If you use Internet Explorer, why not use Autocomplete. It retains all Login ID's and passwords. Go to Internet Explorer\Tools\Options\Content. It's there.

Good Luck

If i ever reformat, i'm screwed with this option.

have been using Password Safe for the past 3yrs-will work on W98, W2K and XP. Small, simple, secure little utility. Oh yeah-it's free.

Thanks, i'll look at it!

I just edit the title of my bookmarks an add a little hint to the username/pw, or the username/pw itself. I don't share my bookmarks with anybody. I suppose it's no big deal though because 95% of my logon info is for various forums/bbs, nothing real critical like banking or such.

Notepad! Er acutally I haven't updated that thing in a while and I end up relying on my brain except then I end up reregistering for stuff. 🙂
