i would loved a picture viewer like windows uses. one click then arrow through.

what does mac have that does this?

Highlight all, right click on one of them and hit Slideshow. Then you can go through them with ease. However, I might have this wrong since I am on Leopard and as such, i would just select a bunch, and then hit space to Quick Look them...

If you select multiple photos with your mouse, or Command-A to Select All, just double click on any one of them and it opens them all up in Preview.

Then you just use Up/Down on the keyboard to move through them.

yup. I personally hate this because I don't like to pre-select the whole directory. Xee takes care of this, but has it's shortfalls IMO (to acdsee classic.. nothing beats that IMO for straight up viewing, heh).

Can you get away w/o selecting all the images? or maybe just selecting a directory? Everything about the new preview seems awesome.. sans the issue I have with it now stated above.

You can select a single file with Quick Look, but you have to navigate through them as if you were arrow-ing through the directory. Which I find kind of annoying.

Yeah I use Xee too. Just wait for Leopard, the Coverflow for files thing is looking pretty cool!
