I belive jock itch is from fungus, therefore changing the ph blance will kill it. Try baking soda, or vinegar, lime juice, tea tree oil, or a topical cream from the drug store. Best solution is head to the local drug store & ask the phamacist for advice.

what's up with all the medieval suggestions? jock itch is nearly as common as any of the other fungus related rashes (athlete's foot, etc.). You don't need to solicit "professional" advice. Just get the normal over the counter medication and take a bit more care next time.

Otherwise, you can try ammonia, the tingly sensation means it's working!
