and where can I buy it? :p

I'm using a standard office chair on wheels and it's ok, but lately, after a long day of running around at work, I've been thinking about buying something that'd be a little more comfortable.

my ideal would be a plush armchair with wheels, but I haven't seen any in any of the stores I've looked in.

I use an Aeron, but that doesn't meet your requirements. I'm very happy with it though. I used to have intense back pain, and now I have none. I think this is mostly because the Aeron's back and seat can move independently, which a lot of chairs don't do (certainly there are many others that do though).

Do you have a Costco membership? They have some really nice looking/feeling plush chairs for reasonable prices. Are you looking for leather or fabric? Their nicer chairs are all leather.

I could get one :) I'd pref leather, but my biggest challenge at the moment is that wherever I go, it needs to be a place that delivers (I own a small car and have no means of getting or borrowing a larger car, since all my friends own small cars as well)

Got it for $90 assembled at Staples. I've got an Altima, not exactly a small car, but it isn't a Yukon either. I just flipped the chair upside down, with the bottom of the chair facing up and the back facing the front of the car, and plopped it on my passenger seat. I had to roll down the window because the legs/casters/wheels/whatever kept spinning around and whacking the window; it got annoying after a mile or two :p.

i picked up a new one from Staples a couple weeks ago for at home. around $100 and more comfortable than the pricier ones they had. I believe it is called a "task chair". the model I bought has a mesh back, quite comfortable. they had some $300 + posturepedic model that i wanted to splurge on but maybe in a few years.

at work, i have a regular office chair... kinda blows but apparently they are bringing in new ones TODAY. that will at least keep me awake here.

it is amazing how much of my life i spend in those 2 chairs, especially in the winter 0_0

Do you drive a Ford Festiva? If you have a car bigger than a Festiva, you could probably buy most chairs that come unassembled. They usually come in boxes that are about 1 ft thick and a few feet wide in each of the other directions. Not all chairs though. Mine came in a huge cube box because it was all assembled except the back.

I sit on a pile of money.

I can't do that. All my cash is in the trunk of my Maybach.

All my cash is in the trunk of one of my Maybachs, I can't remember which one.

All of my food stamps are in the coin tray of my beater.

Oh, I'm doing it wrong.

I've got a hatchback.

anything that comes apart can probably be made to fit inside, but I don't have a roof rack (and the weather sucks), so I couldn't, say, drive to a store, buy a plush armchair, and take it home myself.

i get mine and it was sort of like the one i just bought for home... so i adjust it all up, set it up so it is nice and comfortable... only to find out it is not my new chair but one of the new "board room" chairs

they brought me another new one that is not nearly as comfortable. grrrrr
