I have a 19" (inch) monitor in which I have been recommended to buy a 22 or 24" one. If so I will buy this in the future.

I had a thought which was to change the i7 for something like the Phenom II X4 955 and then get a beast of a graphics card...if you agree, which would you recommend? Also, I could add the 22/24" monitor.

yeah, thats overkill if you plan on just using that 19in monitor

i wouldn't spend all that now until or if/when you get the larger monitor. b/c by the time you do, those prices for those parts will be lower than they are today
