What do you think when you still see Kerry bumper stickers?

I saw 4 of these back to back to back to back and was wondering when people are going to remove them. Regardless of your political affiliation, surely it must be standard to remove these things 5 months after November?

Could be that they're not easily removed...or they're afraid that removing it will ruin their paint now that it's been on there so long.

I think I saw a sticker for Mondale last year.

EDIT: I am not 100% positive, but it is possible considering the number of older vehicles in service up here.

Mondale?

Heck, I saw one for Wendell Wilkie. 😉

I still have mine on. I'll probably take it off next time I give my car a good wash after finals are over. Have to find another one to balance out the NPR one on the other side of my bumper.

I remember still seeing CLINTON 96! after the 2000 election.

I still see Bush ones too.

bumped stickers are a PIA to remove.

I chuckle every time I see bumper stickers about long-dead political races or issues that no one cares about anymore.

What do I think?

I think "idiots."

You lost, get over it. Take the sticker off. My friends that were Kerry supporters say the same thing so it's not just me.

a little OT, but my wife is a big fan of the democratic party (or more correctly, a big hater of the republican party). I'm not all that politically motivated, but I would have to say my beliefs are middle of the road leaning right. So, anyway, my wife filed the taxes this year, married filing separately (got us a bigger refund). I noticed she donated to the democratic party on my behalf. Kinda ticked me off because I don't want to wind up on any list as either a democrat or republican.

That I should have voted for him instead.

Without trying to turn this into a huge political discussion...I'm wondering why you changed your mind?

I dont know, in hind site I kind of threw away my vote cause I voted for Nader. I dont really like Bush much cause I think he acts "religious" just to get that portion of the vote.

When I see a "Kerry" sticker:

I wonder if that person still follows Kerry's politics and if they still believe he was the right man for the job. Kerry couldn't offer up a ridable bandwagon message during the election campaign, much less provide one now. I would have thought that in the least; Kerry's work after the election would give some credibility to the reason as to why he was the 'last man standing' for the dems. But if the genius of his work now is the legacy that was avoided then; thank God for it.

That's what I think when I see a "Kerry" bumper sticker...

I took mine off a few weeks ago. Every time I noticed it I got a twinge of regret as to the misdirection this great country is lurching towards.

I usually try and get in front of them so they can see the Bush/Cheney sign on the back of my truck. 😀

It scares me that so many people voted for Kerry despite him not standing for anything.

It scares me that so many people voted for Bush despite his many, many shortcomings.

Some people are convinced the Propagandist stole the election via vote fraud and have left their stickers on.

Some people are lazy.

I'm betting the latter. 😉

Yes, but which of those people are you? 😉

It was truely a pisspoor selection of candidates to choose from this past november, regardless of your political stance.
