WHat do you think the full gpu lineup will look like at the end of summer

This is how I see the lineup by the end of the summer and estimated prices.

Fury (Fiji) (4gb HBM) vs Titan =800 to 1000$
390x (xt) rebrand 290x with higher clocks/lower TDP vs gtx980ti =650$
390 (pro) rebrand 290 with higher clocks/lower TDP vs gtx980=425$
380x (full tonga? higher clocks/lower TDP) vs gtx970 =300$
380 (rebranded 285 with 4gb) vs 3gb gtx960ti =250$
370x rebrand vs gtx960 =175$

Note: every tier AMD will be slower/= their Nvidia counterpart but cheaper in price.

Mabe we can come back to this thread and see who was close.

I guess its possible but I was under the impression that Fiji was a high end chip just to compete with titan x. I guess they have to do something with the bad chips.

that would be like saying hawaii was just to beat titan. They will do what they always do. Design chip, sell that and slower versions based on yields and defects. If they have a really expensive one its likely going to be overclocked with maybe more VRAM. If AMD releases the vanilla fiji xt for too much thats a massive departure.

If you get one I'd expect so. Aftermarket cooling is a beautiful thing, and factory OC will be a thing.

I'd have a hard time believing a rebranded 290x would compete with a 980TI. Also 2x more expensive than a R9 290X? They'd have to pull out some major magic to get that much more performance from a rebrand (if that is the case.) Other than that, I think the line up looks decent, but I'd probably shift every AMD product down a notch. I'd be surprised to see Fury beat out Titan X, but I'd love to see it happen.

So your saying AMD will take all the rebrands 390x/390/380x that will release on June 16th and stick a cut down Fiji chip called the 395x in between the Fury max and rebranded 390x?. That's a good possibility.:thumbsup:

That seems to be the consensus ,but I have a hard time believing that a respun 290x will only just compete with a gtx980 also.

WHy not just overvolt and overclock your current 290x?

+20% above GTX980 mean middle of GTX980 and TITAN.NV dont have any card in that category so no competition.They need more cut down GM200 at that position like 2432/2560sp GPU

I think the gtx980ti will be 8% slower than the Titan x@ 1080p and will get even slower than the Titan x as the resolution and eye candy get turned up.
Up to as much as 15% slower in some cases.

You have said the word "rebrand" over THIRTY TIMES in just 8 posts of yours that I looked at. You have also said a "rebrand 290X" will be $650. Are you serious?
