what do you think, or know what, the next M$ OS name is going to be.

The very next M$ OS will be Windows .NET Sever 2002, but for the consumer line, it will in all likelyhood be Windows XP SE, or SP1 or something like that.

Microsoft's Non-monopoly Windows including internet explorer, remote desktop connections, expanded defragmenter, microsoft office, a microsoft keyboard and mouse and a pocket PC 🙂_

I've heard M$ is going to abandon the NT base for their next release, and use something completely new and revolutionary that will bring unheard-of speed and stability to 99.9999999% of the world's PCs.

It will be called:

Microsoft(R) Windows(R) DX(R) 2003, codename "We basically rebranded FreeBSD and there's nothing anyone can do about it"

Some of the completely original and innovative features of WinDX:

* Microsoft(R) Internet Explorer(R) 7.0, based on Microsoft(R) Opera(R) technology
* MSN(R) DX, which you'll be reminded to sign up for every time you log in
* Microsoft(R) Media Player DX(TM), with new Winamp-blocker technology (pat. pending)
* Microsoft(R) Passport(R) integration at the kernel level: You have to use passport to log in.
* Microsoft(R) Office DX(R) closely integrated with the OS.
* Microsoft(R) OS subscription system. You can use the OS free for 30 days, but you must then enter your credit card # to continue using your PC. No CC? Tough sh!t. How much does it cost? That's for MS to decide.
* Microsoft(R) WinBIOS DX, which will be flashed over your existing BIOS during the install process, eliminating any chance of switching to a real OS.
* Microsoft(R) Win32DX API. The old Win32 API has been removed, so you have to upgrade to use anything written for WinDX.

Please pay carefull attention to the EULA, which, among other things:

* Transfers ownership of your PC to Microsoft Corporation
* Gives Microsoft permission to disclose your personal information, credit card number, and the contents of your hard drive to anyone who's willing to pay.
* Forbids you from buying a Mac.

Go ahead, flame me to hell. I love it when I am hated.

Windows UE (Ultimate Edition)

Since everyone else is making bad jokes against Microsoft i thought i'd say something positive 🙂

Microsoft will change name to Megasoft and release "Megasoft Windoze 4 AWDKSAC "
(For Assholes Who Don't Know $h!+ About Computers)
"A new innovative OS that is full of as much crap as ur!"

LOL, this thread is OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i leave this thread for two days and look what a mess.

(I LOVE IT!! 😀😀😀😀😀)

LOL @ Electrode's post. 🙂

Seriously, I think my dual boot 98SE/XP setup will remain my OS configuration for a long, long time. If that bothers Balmer, so be it.

It will be interesting to see if MS will force me into my next upgrade or do it the old fashioned way by offering features I need/want at a reasonable price.

Microsoft BBBE (Bling Bling Bill Edition).

You have to be a cash money millionaire in order to purchase it, so Bill Gates can get his old lady some ice.
