What do you think of this?

So I just saw a commercial of this service by verizon call ringback. Pretty much it plays a song whenever you call a Verizon customer instead of the usuall ring.

Personally, I think it's a rockin idea...but I'm just a common teennie bopper who falls for gimmicks like this.

Check it out at http://ringbacktones.vzw.com

T-Mobile has this, called Callertunes. It's a completely retarded feature IMO, but awesome idea if you own the company. I'm sure it brings in lots of money that otherwise wouldn't be.

Verizon nonsense which has been around for a while now. That along with all the other ways they try to rob their customers, like $3 per song for their new music on demand service. The best part is if the phone craps or gets lost, sorry, buy it again.

How is this any different from having different ringtones for each caller?

The person calling you hears a song or whatever that you want them to instead of a ring.

I like it, but only because the Black Eyed Peas are involved.
I'd never pay for it, but if I could steal it, it'd give it a go.
