I used to work here, and did the old web design for the company. When I quit, they brought in another company to do the design.

How do you feel about the popup window loading the main site? Seems sort of odd to me, why not just have the site load in the original window?

EDIT: to clarify, this is not my design, not my site. I USED to do it, then they got someone new.
 
The layout looks good, but I hate those popup sites. I've noticed a lot of sites with these popups and they try to look all fancy, but I don't like it.

Also, is it supposed to look blurry?

Everything else looks nice
 
I agree it's odd that they have it pop up in a new window. I think it's somewhat distracting and irritating, but the design once the pop up is open is pretty nice.
