Thinking of buying this when the new P4 with hyperthreading, 800 bus (and will they have 1MB cache like I hear?) comes available.

I figure its best price/performance what do you say? Games, video editing, encoding (mp3, divx etc), ms office, visual studio.

That is a nice price where would you be getting that from? Why not go with the 3ghz 800mhz fsb chip though, which is already available.

The P4 2.4Cs should hit the magical 1GHZ FSB without issue.

Doesnt crucial DDR400 have a lantency of CL3?
