Only the truly rich can buy a car every few years. Everyone else who isn't a high roller can only afford a car every 10-15 years.

Um, since this is a TWO car household, then if you buy one car every 5 years, that means each person you keep their car for 10 years. Then you say, people can only afford one every 10 years? I don't understand if what you posted was sarcasm.
