I don't know..i am jsut am not my usual judgemental self tonight...

I guess I feel that it is kind of funny but cute....I really don't think it is anything more than jsut an act of creativity by perhaps jaded parents that are attempting to give their kids a good time in the prescence of family..

yeah it's lame, yeah it seems to have consscipuous undertones, yes it implies a lot more, but let them have their fun...

hell most things culturally- or school-oriented my parents put me through at that age was stupid as hell....

Yes, and this picture really describes all of its admirable aspects.

I've gotten a few "hate PMs' regarding my statement....

appearantly everyone thinks that I am mockign them or something...

I am not. If anything, I was pointing out how this mirroed my own childhood. My parents would make me dress in the garb that my elders used to wear when they were rambunctious youths and it looked silly.

In this case, albeit using a phrase that could have been worded better, I was attemtping to show hoe the parents dressed their children in clothes that , altough now it looks silly, was a fad in the early 20th century....

Dont give me that crap. the mom knew exactly what she was doing, dressing her kid up as a pimp.
