Its not bad, other than the fact that theres entirely too much clutter.
And the most irritating thing in the world is now when you are looking at PMs, and you click someones name, you get their profile, and not the message history.
Please, please, please, pretty pretty pretty please change that one thing back.

I mean seriously, the new interface might grow on me, but probably not.
Before, you had more flow on the page. Now you have to simply look too hard to find the actual meat of the post. Theres the top gray bar, the bottom gray bar, and the middle color, and its like color overload. Too distracting from the actual text.
But the change in PMs is just unforgivable. I can see no reason why it was changed to begin with.
Before: I click on their name, and not only do I get their current message, but every message beforehand. It was useful. One click was all you need.
Now: I have to click the little read icon, and then I get a pop up. I HATE POPUPS. Not only is it a popup, but now the message has absolutely no context to it whatsoever. When youre using FS/T alot, you NEED this context. Of course you could always click on the message history, but the point is...youll almost ALWAYS need the message history, so why should I have to click so many damn buttons and deal with popups to find it? Hell, its irritating enough that I cant even reply to the private message in the message history, just like you can with posts. Now THAT would be useful.
But instead of taking a step foward, its ran a mile backwards. Sigh.
As if it wasnt bad enough, I also realized now when you do finally get to the message history, and then click reply, it kicks you OUT of your message history and into the main pm box. Wtf?

I like it a lot! The pop-up reply is great, and I'm about to check out the new avatars. 🙂
