Depends on the occasion. One of the most beautiful settings ever is in Marathon 2: Durandal, deep in the sewage near the drones, with those awesome green lights. That's more of a yellow-green though, so I dunno if it counts.

Blue is the best color, followed by red. Opposite sides of the color spectrum FTW!

😕

Isn't orange the opposite of blue? And green the opposite of red?

Green IS the opposite of red, but *yellow* is the opposite of blue.
"Blue" occupies a wide range. Depending on what color wheel you're using, blue's opposite varies. On a Goethe wheel or a RYB wheel, it's orange. On a CMY wheel, it's yellow.

You know how you had everyone wearing pink? Well, now everyone will be wearing green. Apparently it's the next color in fashion. I read it in a magazine.

The doppler effect in astronomy also places red and blue as opposites. (Redshift and Blueshift)

lol not my eyes 😉
green and red colorblind/color-deficiency FTL 🙁

blue's my favorite color choice, and any shade of blue, even teals or other blues with a hint of green... yes i can see some green, but not every shade.. thus some teals look like its just a shade of blue to me... some purples also look like blue to me, so i sometimes confuse blue with purple based on the past knowledge that some blue's i've seen are indeed purple, simply because i lack seeing the red in the purple to distinguish it from normal blue.
i wonder if blue became my favorite color by choice, or because its the color i can see the most of.. meaning blue might surround me more than green or red since i cannot see every green and red... hmmm
i hate color deficiency 🙁

Violet is the opposite of red? You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Nice try.

The Visible Light Spectrum, which sorts colors by wavelength (white light through triangular prism).

link for visible light spectrum.

although I wouldn't say they qualify as "opposites", really.
